Setting the Check Weighing Precision
The value the Contro-3 uses to determine if a label weight is acceptable is called the precision. By default the precision is set to 0.5. This is the percent of the measured net weight that the label weight can vary by, either up or down. This means that on a box that has a true net weight of 50.0 lbs., the label must be no greater than 50.25 lbs. and no less than 49.75 lbs.

To adjust the precision do the following:

• Press the M key.
• Enter the password and press Enter.
• Press down arrow key to go to the function called W) Weight range and press Enter,or press the W key. The current precision will appear and begin flashing. Type in the new value and press Enter. To quit the system manager, press the Shift key.
