Holding Area
 

 

The holding area in the tree contains a list of all customers that have boxes assigned that have not been included on a packing slip. You can watch this area to see current orders being filled. Select the customer node and check the Summary Breakdown window to view the amount of product that has been assigned to the customer. Boxes can be assigned to a customer in any of the following ways:

  • When a box is packed, it is immediately assigned to a customer.
  • Box is scanned as part of an order.
  • Box is manually assigned to customer by dragging. This can be done by dragging selected boxes from inventory (or from another customer) onto the customer’s holding node.
  • Box is manually assigned to customer by editing in primary grid. The customer column of any box can be filled in with the customer code. Then, the box must be placed into holding by right-clicking on the record and selecting "Holding" from the pop-up menu.
