The download (TX) buffer maintains a list of items that have been requested in the ThruPut application to be sent to the online devices. To clear this list click the Clear TX button.

Here is an example of when you would want to do this: You are trying to download the entire customer table. It doesn’t seem to go down right away, so you request it again, and maybe even a third time. By now you figured out the problem and have corrected it. But you now have 3 copies of the customer list (this is a large table) waiting to be sent down. Instead of waiting for the redundant downloads to occur, you can do a clear.
