About
PDF Files
PDF files require Adobe Acrobat Reader 3.0 or higher to view.
If you do not have Acrobat Reader, download the free application
from this CD:
or
by visiting
www.adobe.com
How to View
PDF Files with Acrobat Reader:
Click
on the "View" button of the desired file. Depending on how
your browser preferences are set up, one of several things
may occur:
- Acrobat
Reader will launch and the PDF document will appear in the
browser window
- Acrobat
Reader will launch and display the PDF file in a new window
- You
may be prompted to save the file to your hard drive. (This
will most likely happen if you do not have Acrobat Reader.
Use the above link to download the free application.)
Configuring
Your Browser for Acrobat Reader:
For information
on configuring your browser preferences to work with Acrobat
Reader PDF files, visit these Adobe web pages:
Downloading

"Save Target As" (Internet Explorer 4.x, AOL) from the pop-up
menu.

the "Save As" dialog box, specify the name and location
on your hard drive, then click "Save."

E-mailing PDF
Files:
To
e-mail a PDF document as an attachment, consult your e-mail
program documentation.
NOTE:
The DocuDisk PDF file names may not be easily recognizable---for
example, the Technical Manuals PDF files are often named with
RLWS part numbers. For this reason, it may be more convenient
to download the PDF file to your hard drive or a floppy disk
(see above), specifying the desired name and location on your
drive.
Printing PDF
Files:
Due
to variations in printers and PC operating systems, printing
quality may vary. The use of a PostScript printer may result
in better-quality graphics printing. Consult your printer
documentation.
