Collecting Scans
 

 

This message is a warning that a box was scanned with a serial number that is not in the production table. It gives you the option of adding it now. Press Yes button to add the box and No button to ignore the box. Press the Cancel button to terminate the processing of the data.

  • When C3Server has finished processing data, it will reset the communication parameters back for the packaging stations and resume polling.
  • On the JANUS scanner, there is a prompt to verify that the data was uploaded successfully before it is cleared. If the data did not upload completely, answer NO to the prompt and the data will be queued up again. There is no danger of data being "doubled-up" or duplicated by doing this. C3Server keeps a log of all data it has received and will reject any record that it has seen before.
  • To retry collecting data, press the Poll button on C3Server. Note that it will stay pressed.
  • At this point, the data collection process for the scanner will rerun again.
