The process of uploading and downloading data to the JANUS scanner is normally initiated from the ThruPut application. However, it can also be triggered by the user. To try to collect data records from the JANUS press the Poll button. It will stay pressed until communication completes, or the user un-presses it. Once the button is un-pressed C3Server pauses its communication (watch the hourglass) while it processes any scans that are waiting in the data buffer.

• Note that even if no scans are received there can still be scans waiting in the data buffer. Be patient and allow this processing to complete.
