Entering Orders
Orders are first received from the customer as requests for a certain
quantity of cases of a certain type of product. Create an order in
the system to match the requests and send it to a scanner where boxes
are scanned to fill the order. After being scanned, each box is removed
from inventory and assigned to the customer and placed in the holding
area.
To create a new order, do the following:
- Select the menu item Forms->New, then choose Order
from the submenu.

You
are prompted for a confirmation with the following message box.
Press the Yes button to proceed.
- Next, you are placed on the first page of the Enter new order
dialog. This dialog will guide you step by step so you’ll know what
needs to be done next.
