Atop the primary grid is a toolbar of buttons with icons on each
to help represent their function. The buttons are each described below:
If depressed
the primary grid is enabled. If unpressed the grid is disabled.
If unpressed
the grid is read only, and its contents cannot be modified. If depressed
the grid’s data can be edited.
If depressed
the primary grid’s associated product summary window is opened.
This window contains a summary of the contents of the grid broken
down by product.
If depressed
the primary grid’s associated totals window is opened. This window
contains a complete summation of all the boxes in the grid.
Calls
up search dialog that lets user specify the exact search criteria
by picking the fields and the contents of a match.
Calls
up search and replace dialog...user can specify one or more fields
to match, and it will substitute the value the user enters as a
replacement in each matching record.
Calls
up the edit dialog box...lets user modify one or more fields in
all the selected fields of the primary grid.
Unselects
all records in the primary grid. (If no records are currently selected
pressing this button has no effect.)
Selects
all the records in the primary grid. Note that selected records
are a different color than unselected records.
Unselects
the current record. The current record is the record that the grid’s
cursor is located on.
Selects
the current record.
Changes
primary grid’s mode to edit cell mode. Use this to manually edit
a certain field.
Changes
primary grid’s mode to select row mode. Use this to select boxes
so that a function can be performed on all of them at once.
